Organic food labels can be confusing for anyone. Learn how to read a label clearly.
| Organic~ The organic label, seen to the right, is the correct label that can be seen on any organic product. What this labels means that that an USDA inspector approved the product. An approved product comes from a farm or plant that does not use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or hormones. | |

Antibiotic-free~ Antibiotic feed farm animals can cause water pollution along with drug-resistant bacteria such as E.coli. |

Free-Range~ A free range chicken is a chicken who was given fresh air and space to roam around outside. Most chickens grow up in large barn without ever seeing the out doors which and can cause problems in chickens.
