leaders.
Prior to her Leadership Talent Management assignment, she served as
the vice president of AeroStructures, Manufacturing and Support
Technologies for Boeing Phantom Works. As a leader within the
company's advanced research and development unit, Acosta led teams
supporting structural design and analysis, advanced materials and
processes, manufacturing technology, and product support technology.
Acosta has also held numerous senior positions in Boeing Commercial
Airplanes, including:
§

lead engineering roles to support the design and build of Air Force
One. Before coming to
Boeing, she held several roles in project engineering at Gates
Learjet as a Flight Controls Specialist and Avionics Engineer.
Acosta earned both a bachelor’s and master's degree in electrical
engineering from
Wichita State University,
and currently sits on several advisory boards as the Boeing
executive focal for the University.
